EURECA-PRO ONLINE Lecture Series

The European University Alliance on Responsible Consumption and Production EURECA-PRO is starting free online lecture series presented by leading professors and researchers of 7 European universities from 6 countries:
- Montanuniversität Leoben (Austria)
- Technical University Freiberg (Germany)
- University of Petrosani (Romania)
- University of León (Spain)
- Technical University of Crete (Greece)
- Silesian University of Technology (Poland)
- Mittweida University of Applied Sciences (Germany)
14 lectures on “Responsible Consumption and Production” provide an introduction and initial overview to the following topics:
– Sustainable Development Goals
– European Union and culture
– Responsible mining approach
– Circular Economy
– Sustainability and energy technologies
– Key role of materials in responsible production
Innovative solutions for current issues in society and industry in responsible consumption and production related to Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nation with special emphasis on SDG 12 “Responsible Consumption and Production”.
The lectures are open only for students, staff, researchers of EURECA-PRO partner universities.
Participants can get a certificate of attendance for attending the lecture series; 5 ECTS can be obtained if at least 11 lectures are visited, an online test is taken and a written paper is handed in.
