The EURECA-PRO Student Council has elected its new chair, Ihtesham Ud Din from Hasselt University, and vice-chair, Aralia Muñiz from Universidad de León, marking a significant milestone in the European University on Responsible Consumption and Production’s mission to amplify student voices across its nine partner institutions.
Shaping the Future
The student council plays a crucial role in shaping the direction of EURECA-PRO, ensuring that student perspectives contribute to research, innovation, and educational initiatives focused on sustainability. The council comprises student representatives from all nine partner universities. These representatives actively participate in international conferences, advocate for student engagement, and present student perspectives at networking events both within the alliance and in collaboration with other student groups.
Following their election, Ihtesham Ud Din and Aralia Muñiz delivered a presentation outlining their key objectives for their term. They introduced an ambitious roadmap aimed at fostering collective growth, with a focus on increasing student engagement, establishing a strong alumni network, enhancing inter-alliance collaboration, and much more.
