By studying Management and Production Engineering you will gain, knowledge in the field of:

Programme description

This programme offers you a unique opportunity to combine the acquisition of STEM and engineering skills with consumer behaviour. In addition to gaining knowledge of raw material extraction, secondary materials and processing industries, you will also have the opportunity to spend at least one semester abroad at our partner universities, strengthening your expertise in sustainability development in an international context. As a result, you will become a sought-after expert in industry and the public sector. This programme is built around 3 core pillars:

The Responsible Consumption and Production (RCP) sub-programme of the Bachelors of Science in Engineering focuses on innovative processes, sustainable fuels, new materials, and energy technologies for the responsible use of all raw materials in production and conversion, application, and consumption.

The knowledge you gain will enable you to help build near-sustainable energy systems, initiate the hydrogen economy, design and operate resource-efficient process technologies, process sustainable raw materials, and develop a zero-emissions economic cycle. With your knowledge and skills, you will make an important contribution to mitigating climate change, meeting the demand for raw materials in a sustainable way and, last but not least, promoting prosperity in Europe and the wider world. Global challenges need internationally minded engineers. Join our study program in Electrical Engineering – Automation with specialisation in Responsible Consumption and Production! You will not only learn how a responsible industry uses automation to produce in a more resource-efficient way and how it is possible to develop such systems.
