The Silesian University of Technology (SUT) is the oldest technical university in Upper Silesia and one of the largest in the country. The fourteen units – thirteen faculties and one institute of the Silesian University of Technology – currently offer nearly 60 fields of study, covering the entire scope of engineering activities.
Currently, the Silesian University of Technology educates over 15,600 students. The university offers first-cycle studies (engineering and bachelor’s degrees), second-cycle – master’s studies, education at the doctoral school called “Joint Doctoral School” and postgraduate studies.
