EURECA-PRO Rectors at the European Universities High-Level Meeting in Brussels
On the 26th of February, EURECA-PRO Rectors, Peter Moser from Montanuniversität Leoben and Sorin Mihai Radu from Universitatea din Petroșani, had the valuable opportunity to directly engage with Executive Vice-President Roxana Mînzatu at the European Universities High-Level Meeting in Brussels. This meeting served as an excellent platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration on the future of higher education in Europe.
Throughout their discussions, the Rectors and Vice-President Mînzatu explored key topics such as the strategic role of the European Universities initiative, its impact on fostering innovation, enhancing competitiveness, and advancing future-oriented skills across Europe. The conversation also delved into the Rectors’ vision for future success, emphasising their commitment to shaping an educational landscape that is adaptable to emerging challenges. They also shared best practices as well as addressed current challenges.
The meeting proved to be highly efficient and invaluable, fostering strong collaboration and laying the groundwork for continued progress in the future of higher education across Europe.

Project Management Lead Vanessa Massegg from Montanuniversität Leoben, along with Vice President of European Strategy Fabrice Lemoine and Eric Foucher from Université de Lorraine, represented EURECA-PRO at the event.
