Structural and Organisational Institution Configuration
Action Area 3: New Shared Potential
Deliverable 7.1 | WORK PACKAGE 7 – Joint Research Structures Utilization Strategy
Deliverable D7.1 is an internal report on structural and organizational configuration of partner institutions in EURECA-PRO University Alliance. It was developed based on the data provided by Partners in order to facilitate the further discussion and work on the development of joint research structures utilization strategy.
The document
- depicts most important scientific priorities and goals of each Partner which is the core drive of the research and education,
- describes the governance models and structures applied at each University concerning processes of conducting research to start a discussion on differences and similarities between Partners and to identify best practices among them,
- describes the governance models and structures applied at each University for the management of research infrastructure,
- describes IT solution used by Partners for the purpose of gathering data on the research infrastructure to identify the possibility of creating common database, accessible for Partners,
- describes financial regulations and legal issues concerning maintenance and joint usage of research infrastructure in each Partner University and country,
- describes key research centres and laboratories at each Partner University with respect to the Lighthouse Missions topics of EURECA-PRO.
An important attachment to this document is an Excel file with the description of laboratories and research equipment related to LH Missions topics (for internal use only). Each entry describes also a model of joint usage for specific research infrastructure as well as contact persons responsible for the equipment. So far over 200 laboratories and over 1200 pieces of research equipment was mapped. The file is a first attempt to create a database of research infrastructure of EURECA-PRO that can be used in joint research actions. It should be treated as an excerpt from the future database that may be created to improve the joint research planning.
